We don’t have to go into the mountains,
jungles or savanna to see flowers blooming,
bugs crawling and birds flapping their
beautiful wings.
While living in a big city called Tokyo,
it makes me happy every time
when I feel their vigorous vitality and
sparkling spirits.
I am reassured by the thought that I’m living
with them.
I wanted to draw those ordinary but
irreplaceable lives.
